5월 29, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PortWise ("PortWise", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use PortWise.io and related services.

PortWise is an AI investment research and paper-trading advisor platform. It helps users create strategy Advisors, review market data, generate simulated trading signals, run paper portfolios, compare public Advisors, and manage related account, billing, and collaboration features.

PortWise is for research and simulation only. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and we do not currently place real-money trades or connect to your brokerage account for live trading.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  1. Account and profile information

    • Name, email address, login credentials or authentication identifiers, profile details, user settings, locale, and notification preferences.
    • Information used for email verification, account security, and customer support.
  2. Advisor and strategy information

    • Advisor names, descriptions, templates, strategy settings, watchlists, asset universes, risk rules, prompts, configuration versions, visibility settings, and launch status.
    • Paper-trading records such as simulated portfolios, positions, orders, trades, signals, run summaries, performance snapshots, and review notes.
  3. Public and social activity

    • Public Advisor pages, comments, favorites, follows, likes or similar interactions, creator attribution, and other content you choose to make public.
    • If you mark an Advisor as public, selected Advisor information, simulated performance, and related activity may be visible to other users.
  4. User content and AI inputs

    • Messages, prompts, uploaded files or images, feedback, support requests, and other content you submit to PortWise features.
    • If AI generation, chat, or media tools are enabled, we may process your inputs and outputs to provide those features and record task history.
  5. Payment, subscription, and credit information

    • Plan selection, order numbers, subscription status, invoices, payment provider identifiers, billing email, credit grants or usage, and transaction metadata.
    • Payment card and wallet details are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on PortWise servers.

  7. Cookies and similar technologies

    • Cookies or local storage used for sign-in, security, preferences, analytics, affiliate attribution, customer support, and product improvement.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide the PortWise platform, including Advisor creation, paper-trading simulation, dashboards, public Advisor pages, comments, follows, favorites, subscriptions, credits, API keys, and support.
  • Run, monitor, and improve AI-assisted research, signal generation, paper execution, and report workflows.
  • Display public content that you choose to publish.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds where applicable, and credit balances.
  • Send service messages such as verification emails, security notices, billing notices, product updates, and support replies.
  • Analyze product usage, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and improve reliability and safety.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of PortWise, users, and third parties.

AI, Market Data, and Simulation Notes

PortWise may use third-party AI providers, market data providers, cloud infrastructure, storage, email, analytics, customer support, and payment processors to deliver the service. Your prompts, Advisor settings, public content, uploaded materials, and generated outputs may be processed by those providers as needed to operate the service.

Market data, filings, news, and other third-party content may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or subject to separate provider terms. Paper-trading results are simulated and may not reflect real execution prices, liquidity, fees, slippage, taxes, or live trading conditions.

Please do not submit brokerage credentials, full account statements, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal financial information unless a PortWise feature explicitly requests it and explains why.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:

  • Service providers: with vendors that help us provide hosting, databases, cloud compute, AI processing, storage, analytics, email, customer support, affiliate tracking, payments, and security.
  • Public features: when you publish an Advisor, comment, profile, or other public content.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate security incidents, or protect rights and safety.

  • With your direction or consent: when you connect, export, share, or authorize a feature that requires disclosure.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect platform security.

You may request deletion of your account or certain content. Some information may remain in backups, audit logs, billing records, fraud-prevention records, or public content already copied or shared by others where deletion is not technically or legally required.
